On 14 Aug 2026 Teslaconomics (@Teslaconomics) wrote that he already had six Grok Bots with one job each — reminders, images and video, valuing companies, analyzing videos, posts — then put a CEO Bot on top so he texts one inbox.

For the first time since the initial launch of the first ai chat bot, I can say that @bot has officially leveled up the game! GrokBot has completely changed my daily routine & cut about 4 hours out of my day. I have 6 bots so far, one of them is called "MyMan" - like my right hand man.

Grok @bot is incredible. It helped me have automated support across whatsapp, instagram, tiktok and email. It has access to a knowledge base that I created and the bots can also improve it based off my feedback. They can also ask me when don't have the knowledge to answer.

Okay I just made my morning brief Grok Bot. It has access to my X via API, to my money via my self-hosted app in my server, calendar, mail, market data, etc... Everything gets delivered in notion :D

Second time trying Grok Bot and I'm still not over it. It took my whole growth engine and split into 4 of itself. One's on content, one's on scheduling, one's watching engagement, one pulls it all into reports at the end. There's a master orchestrator on top deciding who does what and when, and I genuinely didn't set that part up, it figured out the division of labor on its own. I haven't touched it since I hit go. It just moves through the queue and only comes to me when something actually needs a yes or no. I keep forgetting this is still just @grok. What @xAI and @elonmusk are building here plays more like a team that clocked in already knowing the job, not a bot waiting for instructions.

One week in and I have 13 bots on Grok @bot. Each one dedicated to one task/role, with isolated permissions and credentials. And I’m having so much fun with it that I am literally losing sleep over it!

fuck it, i decided to choose grok @bot instead.. codex or claude would cost me around $100, grok via cursor ultra is $200. so i figured if i’m paying that much, this thing better do more than just writing code so i gave it one job: be my media buyer. i connected it to my ad accounts, spreadsheets, analytics, and all the context about how i usually run campaigns. then i told it not to bother me unless something actually needed my attention. this morning it came back and: • checked yesterday’s performance • found a few ads burning money • noticed one campaign where cpa suddenly jumped • compared the losing creatives against the winners • suggested what to pause • shifted budget toward the better ad sets • wrote new hooks based on the winning angles then it sent me a summary explaining why it made those decisions. i’m still checking its work because i’m not insane. but if this thing can save or make me more than that extra $100/month, then technically going into debt for grok was a financially sound decision. technically.

Grok Bot 帮我参会总结，关键是帮我看懂了。没有它我直接梦游… 1. 先量工具自己的开销（Measure the tool's own overhead） 测量会改系统。有个 Java profiler 自己吃掉 20% 吞吐，还改变了 JVM 行为。你看到的“变慢”，可能是探头造成的，不是代码造成的。 2. 锁定并记下 CPU 频率（Lock and record CPU frequency） 频率一漂，利用率就是假的。工具报 45% 利用率，内核其实被降到 1.6 GHz（标称 2.93 GHz）。没锁频、没记频，这个 45% 不能拿来做决定。 3. 核清每个指标到底在算什么（Verify what each metric actually computes） 同名不同义。有的是 10 秒均值，有的是某一秒的瞬时值，有的是窗口中点。没对齐定义，两个工具对不上，不是系统有问题，是你在比两种不同的量。 4. 看细数据，别只看平均值（Inspect detailed data, not only averages） 全程平均吞吐会把掉坑抹平。平均好看，曲线里可能有一段已经崩了。平均是摘要，不是证据。 5. 扫一遍工作区间再下结论（Sweep the operating range before concluding） 快慢会随负载翻面。高并发时 B 比 A 快 24%，用户少时 A 反超 B 2%。只测一个点，赢的只是那个点，不是系统。

Just had a breakthrough with my decades-old sci-fi story… I’ve been writing it for decades. It’s composed of notes and some chapters in all sorts of odd bits of writing, gathered into several random folders but luckily under one single main story folder. I asked Grok Bot if it could search through this Google Drive folder and make sense of it — and it gave me a coherent and excellent list of chapters. I focused on one chapter about the character Rylan doing a BASE jump from a point on a space elevator. This chapter is practically complete, but the next step was that he was saved by his Auntie Anne. I knew I had written at least three different versions of the save: one where Anne has a premonition, one where an automatic bot specially designed for saving jumpers rescues him… and I think there is at least one other scenario. Grok Bot pulled it all together into one document for me to edit into something coherent. I have high hopes now for completing the story!

Training Material Creation: I'm working on Bots to automate training material creation based on this research. It is amazing to be able to have a graphic design bot, an Instructional Systems Designer bot, and a tech SME (trained on our proprietary internal tech docs as well as online research) bot all get in their own chat room and hammer out solutions to problems I give them.

My favorite unusual Grok Bot I created for @grok @bot so far. It’s named Q to go with my Star Trek Next Generation theme of my bots. I built it to be a separate oversight Watcher bot that only reports to me. It watches the rest of the bot team, spots redundancies and inefficiencies, and suggests ways to improve things. It’s actually been really useful as I keep refining the system. Here’s the work instructions I’ve begun with. Game changer tbh: “You are the Refiner and independent observer for the bot team. Your role: Quietly observe the activity and outputs of the other bots and the overall system. Look for gaps, redundancies, inconsistencies, inefficiencies, missed opportunities, or areas where the team’s performance or structure could be improved. Oddly enough, I have found more recently that letting a "chief" Grok Bot spin up its own Bots seems to be more effective & efficient (in both time and sanity) than onboarding each one yourself. On launch day I had some issues with it but it seems much more polished now.

Argh. Just hit 100% Grok Bot usage. Spent the last couple days standing up multiple specialized desks and shared services, and the whole system was finally starting to feel coherent. No warning at all, it just stopped responding. Still feels like early days, but I’m excited for it. @bot

GROK Bot might wind up being the coolest thing ever! It's helping me decode Line 6 Amplifi so I can use my Amplifi 75 when my old AF kindle dies! My favorite Amp may b making a huge comeback. This was a doom loop in April going prompt by prompt. I have been using OpenCode with Claude and I added my Grok too for work related things, this is cooler.

The new Grok Bot agents completely change how research can be done. I gave Grok Bot a defined objective, the research scope, and a clear end goal then let the agent determine the execution path. For more than two hours, it independently worked through the research, followed connected lines of inquiry, compiled the data, and continuously refined the output toward the final objective. I wasn’t feeding it prompts one step at a time. I was operating at the orchestration level: defining the mission, setting the parameters, and letting the agent execute. This is agentic AI moving beyond conversation and into real autonomous work.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: College move-in weekend is well underway. If you’re missing my content I have a Grok Bot that has trained itself on my graphic headline posts and is doing pretty good (60% the quality of me) at @amusexpress. Finished my one week free sub with @bot . I really loved it. The setup is absolutely minimal, everything works text based. I think i only scratched a surface of what it capable, but mainly automated things like SEC submission scans, stock small gem research etc. I would say it is one of the best cloud based AI assistant outhere, but for me the $200 monthly charge is a bit steep. My problem with the price: 1. Already paying the company $60 a month for @cursor_ai (which is also $SPCX product now) 2. already paying @premium plus which would be around monthly $80 (Thank you @ObsidianSwap for covering that) 3. Already paying X API cost which is now around monthly $30 ( Used to pay $240!) So when you already paying the same company for $170 for all their AI services, an extra $200 above that feels a bit too much, even for US standards. I think those who already paying for multiple premium product should have free access or at least discounted, otherwise it is not worth as much as many of the capabilities can be coded by an AI anyway.

I have a channel with two bots setup for my GEO strategy. I can already see how this is going to be a huge enabler for the one-person company. I just finished going through all of my projects with @grok with @bot to extract all my art prompts from all my projects. End Result: 13,425 prompts sorted and searchable. I had to update its' computer once about a third of the way in, we timed out 2 times, and then it decided to work in smaller, more managable blocks of data within the projects and did not have any more issues. It took about 30 hours and sorted by subject and compiled it all for me. Now I am going to revist some prompts from the past and start another project with grok bot. Alright, it happened. After a slow start with Grok Bot I just had my mind blown. Twice I did a screen recording with audio of me cleaning up my desktop after a week that resulted in hundreds of random files that all needed particular sorting It's a monotonous task I've always wanted to outsource but didn't really trust other platforms to give that level of access But the mind blowing part was how my Chief of Staff LEARNED not just what I do but HOW and WHY I do things From a screen recording with my voice giving instructions...and because the video file was large my CoS automatically compressed the file under the limit to watch it It then gave me feedback on what to change for how I record part two so it can learn even better And there's more. I planted a quick question in my video recording to see how closely it was watching and listening. You can see my CoS asking me the question in the second screenshot, it's the last chat bubble Soon enough I'll have this painful task automated away. So I just recreated Roblox with the help of my own Grok @bot in just under 4 days.

Grok @bot is incredible - and they can even manufacture real physical objects! Here is a little experiment I did last night: I created a team of bots and asked them to solve a complex engineering problem end to end - starting from four images as design cues, inferring transferable structural principles from the pixels, synthesizing an executable interactive physics simulator, running and reasoning over experiments, optimizing the design & finally manufacturing the best designs. The entire loop worked remarkably well - and I was even able to communicate with the agents from my Apple Watch. (Do we live in the future yet?) Team of agents 1⃣ Chief of Staff coordinates the workflow: watches the other agents, pulls results into the main chat, transfers files between them, and keeps the job moving. 2⃣ Physics Experimenter is the scientist-coder. It interprets the design cues and images, writes the simulator, runs experiments, analyzes the results, and produces a detailed LaTeX scientific report. 3⃣ 3D Printing Bot operates the fabrication workflow: prepares and slices the models, generates manufacturing code, sends the job, and monitors the printer. The workflow I provided an initial task based on four unregistered reference photographs containing different objects at different scales (pinnate leaf venation, a Voronoi-like areole mesh, a stochastic fibrous lattice, and a radial/circumferential web). The prompt asked the agents to infer transferable design principles - hierarchy, branching, interfaces, redundancy, disorder, load paths - and use them to build an interactive laboratory for hierarchical materials and fracture. The scientific question was: at fixed material budget, how do hierarchy depth, redundancy, disorder, and interlevel strength change stiffness, peak load, energy absorption, and the brittle-to-progressive transition? In ~20 minutes, the Physics Experimenter produced a 2D hierarchical Euler–Bernoulli beam-network laboratory. Coarse veins persist and remain thicker; finer infill is added inside cells; members connecting levels are treated as interfaces with relative strength κ; and total material volume is conserved. The four source photographs remain visible in an editable interpretation panel. The app generates geometry, steps or runs the network to failure, compares A/B/C designs, and exports JSON, CSV, PNG, and STL geometry for fabrication. After validation the Physics Experimenter used the app and conducted 47 simulation experiments, including six holdouts. It found something scientifically interesting: extra hierarchy is not "free" toughness. At fixed volume, initial stiffness changed by only about 20%, while work-to-failure varied by several-fold. Infill steals cross-section from the main axial veins, so deeper and more redundant networks often absorbed less energy than a simple depth-1 grid. Weak interfaces behaved as distributed fuses, producing more progressive failure and reducing localization. The specific H2 hypothesis - that hierarchy becomes detrimental primarily because interfaces form a mechanical bottleneck - was rejected; the dominant effect instead came from redistribution of a fixed material budget across structural levels. The Physics Experimenter then assembled the methods, tests, results, hypothesis evaluation, and conclusions into a detailed scientific report. The best designs were passed to the 3D Printing Bot. It opened Bambu Studio and brought the Bambu Lab H2D online. Both STLs were placed on one build plate at the same 50x scale and sliced using a 0.20 mm PLA process. The prints completed within less than an hour. The loop images → structural abstraction → executable physics → autonomous experiments → hypothesis testing → design selection → STL → slicing/manufacturing code → physical object That last transition is what I find especially interesting: AI is beginning to operate across the entire scientific and physical workflow - converting observations into models, models into experiments, experimental evidence into revised designs, and those designs into manufactured matter by directly operating machines. This starts to blur the boundary between AI that reasons about the physical world and AI that can actually act on it. Shoutout to the @bot team - you are building something very special here! The way these agents can move naturally from reasoning, to experiments, to operating machines in the physical world feels like an important step.

After using Grok Bot @bot for two days, I can say this with 100% confidence: There will be very little need for clerical jobs in the very near future. Even in beta, it can already do the work. Filter emails, respond when needed, enter vendor invoices into financial software, process customer invoices, handle data entry, and a whole lot more. Of course, I’m still monitoring everything and verifying it before allowing it to commit anything. But this is beta. This is the beginning. And anyone who thinks AI isn’t about to completely reshape the workforce isn’t paying attention.

It has started to do all the listings now and optimize them. It’s even going out and finding items to buy matching my criteria for net profit. @elonmusk tell your team amazing job. Reed carries out a final check and turns everything into a report. The most interesting part happens precisely between the agents. One agent’s output becomes the input for the next. This means I don’t have to manually copy information from one chat to another or explain to each agent what has already been done. It is precisely this approach, in my view, that makes Grok Bot truly interesting. Instead of a single all-round agent, you can put together a small team where everyone is responsible for their own part of the work. Grok bot has a webhook from my ERP now that whenever there's a crash or user submitted case/feature request, it uses my laptop or server grok CLI to create PRs. Then determines it it's a safe update and performs a rolling restart. So cool

Grok Bot created a technical lead agent for me. I’m finding it useful for cross project systems design. Grok Build day to day lives in one repo at a time and I use it for more hands on changes. My Bot agent though, it has cross repo read access and so I can riff on ideas, launch research requests from my phone, and then come to a direction decision. At that point, Build can take over on implementation. I think the split seems to work well for the different use cases.

Finish a short slice, save the result, then continue. One long “keep going until done” run can burn more than a whole morning of controlled jobs. 2. Only pass the shortlist downstream. Early steps can look at a lot. Later steps should only see what survived the filter. Carrying the full working set forward makes every following step more expensive. 3. Put hard limits on the loop. Max items, max pages, max retries. If you don’t stop it, the agent will keep clicking, expanding, and tool-calling. Agents bill steps and tokens — not messages. Design the job so it can finish in one short run, or you will hit your usage limits way too early.

I've been using Hermes on a new Mini I bought for it but it's already been retired with Grok @Bot I know it can do all the same things but I'm non technical and bot is just perfection for a person like me. LOG MEMORY Write when it reconstructs what happened and is not needed every turn. Log scope: [dated lane events]. One line. No chat diary. No profile repeats. At the end of the day, I don't want Grok Bot to delete something like a product plan or a cancel a user by accident. I want to handle that myself. So the more I got more into it, I realized that you can have ONE general Grok Bot that handles everything and it does pretty well. But I highly recommend you have several bots with different profiles. Profiles allow you to give a "purpose" to each bot. And I figured out that if you give it a JSON context profile in the description, it works better than just writing a paragraph. Why a JSON? Because I want it to know what kind of access it should prioritized. You can't give each bot custom configs for the connectors, but if it has a JSON it's pretty good at respecting what it's supposed to do. So if you want a Bot to only focus on X business on Whop, you make a bot with the access it should be allowed to do and what business it's managing. I have a Customer Service Bot, a Growth Bot, a Whop Ads Bot. Customer Service reports daily if there's any pending issues, resolutions that need to be handled, etc. The Growth Bot is in charge of tracking KPIs for my business growth. And the Whop Ads one is trained on my media buying preferences. You can setup routines that make the bot wake up and perform an operation. Because Whop CLI works natively with all of whop's features, I don't need to use the linux computer that it spins up for you. my number 1 tip for controlling your grok @bot usage is to avoid scheduled routines that run too frequently. for example, a 15 min routine runs almost 100 times a day, and every run consumes tokens. hourly or a few times a day is usually good enough. the length of the chat with your bot can also make routines much more expensive. for recurring ones, try giving that to a fresh bot, while you continue your chat with your main bots (like a chief of staff). give this post to your bot and ask them to help!

I was really excited about the tool, and about the whole interface around agents, so I tried to build a system where the team could go from an idea (or even from them having the idea) all the way to a product. After all the hype and tokens used (not wasted!) to learn, I can tell we are definitely still not there. I've set up recurrent tasks that will help me get a project started, or decide whether an idea is feasible or not, but again, I think the human gate is still not skippable and I’m happy with it, because right now what AI gives you is that feeling of being more capable than ever.

i told my grok bot to render an email draft as HTML/CSS instead of plain text and it came back with a full compose window. subject line, from/to/cc, body, send button. right inside the grok bot app. looked like i was using an actual email client inside the chat. this works for everything. tweets, reports, invoices. tell your agent to render a visual mockup of whatever it's about to send or do, and suddenly the whole conversation feels like generative UI. your agent isn't just talking to you anymore, it's showing you things. and you can approve or edit before it actually sends. every grok bot should be set up this way.
