Alright, it happened. After a slow start with Grok Bot I just had my mind blown. Twice I did a screen recording with audio of me cleaning up my desktop after a week that resulted in hundreds of random files that all needed particular sorting It's a monotonous task I've always wanted to outsource but didn't really trust other platforms to give that level of access But the mind blowing part was how my Chief of Staff LEARNED not just what I do but HOW and WHY I do things From a screen recording with my voice giving instructions...and because the video file was large my CoS automatically compressed the file under the limit to watch it It then gave me feedback on what to change for how I record part two so it can learn even better And there's more. I planted a quick question in my video recording to see how closely it was watching and listening. You can see my CoS asking me the question in the second screenshot, it's the last chat bubble Soon enough I'll have this painful task automated away. And undoubtedly many, many others in time as well. Thank you @bot This really will be the entry point for many and the beginning of a true paradigm shift. OpenClaw vs. Hermes vs. Grok @bot, clearly explained: All three let you set up an agent with a specific job, and it keeps its files and logins between sessions instead of starting fresh. OpenClaw and Hermes are self-hosted, so the machine can be a laptop, a VPS, or a container that someone already pays for and can log into. Grok Bot runs on a machine SpaceXAI provisions and operates. It gives one computer per account rather than one per agent. Every Bot on that account reads the same files and carries the same browser logins, so handing work between two Bots does not require a re-login or file transfer. Hermes and OpenClaw isolate agents instead, and their memory sits in plain files anyone can open and edit. Hermes goes furthest since the agent writes its own skills and a background curator deletes the ones nobody uses. Grok Bot has the lowest-friction path to a new skill in my opinion. my number 1 tip for controlling your grok @bot usage is to avoid scheduled routines that run too frequently. for example, a 15 min routine runs almost 100 times a day, and every run consumes tokens. hourly or a few times a day is usually good enough. the length of the chat with your bot can also make routines much more expensive. for recurring ones, try giving that to a fresh bot, while you continue your chat with your main bots (like a chief of staff). give this post to your bot and ask them to help!

Turn any screen recording into an Agent skill! Grok @bot has a really interesting feature that lets you teach a task by doing it once instead of writing it down. Open a computer view of a Bot conversation, select Teach a task, and run through the whole workflow yourself while the Bot records. Once done, the Bot turns that pass into a skill. It automatically identifies the steps, the inputs the task needs, and the format of what comes back, and any Bot on the account can run it. The video below depicts this in action. I teach an algebra class at the school my wife started. I run a Google Classroom for it. This morning I gave Grok Bot access to my syllabus, the digital textbook and my Google Classroom. I discussed how I assign homework. I had it curate relevant videos from YouTube and checked to make sure they were a good match. Based on that it posted homework and resources for this week in Google Classroom. Then I told it do that every week from now on and post on the appropriate days. A full blown teacher’s assistant trained in one hour.

Unique way I'm using Grok @bot. I got married in June 2008. I wasn't on Facebook yet (I was a long holdout and didn't join until 2010), so while we obviously had professional photos/video, I never really saw all the photos other people at the wedding took. Recently I was looking at a friend's Facebook and scrolled all the way back to 2008. I found a bunch of photos from my wedding that I'd literally never seen before. It gave me an idea: give Grok Bot a job to go through Facebook, find every photo/video from my wedding it can, and download everything into a folder on my computer. It's only just started, but the coolest part is it's already doing things I didn't think to tell it to do. It's finding people tagged in the photos, going to their profiles, looking through their June 2008 photos, then doing the same thing with other people it finds (including people I'm not friends with whose photos are public). Basically traversing the human graph around my wedding. This would have taken me 5+ hours to do manually and I probably wouldn't have found half of what it finds. Love this use of @bot. Asked the Grok bot to generate a video explaining what is happening in this recent paper. One thing I did differently this time (which noticeably improved the mathematical part) was to ask it to create three additional bots, acting as experts in complex analysis (conformal maps), geometric function theory, and harmonic analysis. I then asked them to discuss and critically check the mathematics, make sure the arguments, graphs, and other details were accurate, and edit the video accordingly. The quality caught my attention so much that I eventually ended up watching it all the way to the end.

Here I'm asking Grok Bot to connect to my FME editor session and create social media videos for the app. It automatically generates content, imports them into the project, creates five sequences, stages clips, titles, animations and a soundtrack. Then thanks to FME's Beat Detection system, it aligns clips and cuts to the beats, and finally it automatically exports the five sequences. I had Grok Bot download and transcribe 2,218 UGC videos for one of my brands and create a transcript for each one. It generated a JSON file that aggregated scripts with views, engagement, and other success metrics. This would've been impossible before.

My first use-case with @grok @bot Aim: Asked bot to find tweet's where argus (my oss product) would be right to pitch 1) Bot found out such posts 2) Asked me to select which to post (only on my command) 3) Opened a computer ( for me to login into my X acc) 4) and then autonomously posted it, JUST AS A HUMAN WOULD!! OPENCLAW & HERMES AGENT ARE COOKED. I launched Grok Bot to analyze SpaceX as a long-term investment. I thought I already understood the company. I was DEAD WRONG. It pulled together data I had never looked at side by side and exposed how incomplete my view actually was. This is the direct output of what Grok Bot built with FME. I did not polish the overlapping titles to demonstrate the exact output, but I can now just go in there and move the titles, or ask it again to fix it for me. Fast Movie Editor is the only video editor you need in the modern era!

I’m currently deep into testing organic social ugc for Budgey. I was making mostly ai stuff but am going to now start recording and making my own videos. Buuuut… I have given grok bot the job of making ai ugc to test different hooks and formats it finds just to save me time and get more data. Here’s its first video. Not bad tbh!!

grok bot day 1: i set up a "member of technical staff" bot to finetune thinky's inkling-small to sound like my twitter posts. then, i told it to "write a post about my experience trying to get a model to shitpost like me". it came back with "trying to get a model to shitpost like me...it makes me want to kill myself" unfortunately, that is genuinely pretty funny. the problem is that aside from quippy one liners, the model goes back to sounding like slop. grok bot is definitely the wrong tool for this; i can't see what the bots are actually doing or thinking - i have very little control of whats actually happening. my other failed experiment was trying to get several bots to work together and produce an edm track (it was really, really bad). so for my next use case, i wanna try it for some more repetitive tasks in my life. stuff that i dont need to be hands on with and fewer moving parts. anyways, as a product, i think grok bot is great. there are some small issues to iron out and sometimes the model is dumb, but it's very accessible and intuitive to use. i definitely get the appeal of it. the user experience really does feel like im talking to real people. eventually, models will get good enough that you don't have to be hands on with it - i imagine one day i can just throw a bunch of bots in a chat and tell it to train a custom ml model for me. so i think that this kinda anthropomorphizing is not only intuitive, but also forward-looking w.r.t. how people will interact with llm intelligence

So I got stumped on an interview for a new job when asked hard questions on the NT Object Manager and CM subsystems. I spun up some stuff using grokbot with ghidra and it made me a nice internals study guide. Bit rough, but recommend to others. The flow is RE Raw dump in notion -> Editor on the raw dump -> Guide writer. I need to link up IDA for it, but don't want to put my license on their servers. But even with Ghidra, this is pretty nice. I could see a couple more passes getting it more readable.

I implemented a write filter for Grok Bot’s memory. It’s not another bot that “remembers things.” It’s a rule that decides where each piece of information actually goes Without it, the Bot treats identity, yesterday’s mess, and this week’s tasks as the same thing Three drawers: - Profile: Must be accurate every turn. If this is wrong, the Bot performs poorly every day. - Log: What happened. Useful later. Should not be loaded into every message. - Note: Relevant for a few days, then it should leave the always-visible list. Never becomes identity. When running multiple Bots: - Own = that Bot’s lane - Shared = operator data every Bot should already know This doesn’t make Grok Bot smarter. It prevents three failure modes: - Forgetting who it is - Fabricating the past - Turning temporary tasks into permanent rules I tested it for a week with 6 Bots. Empty transcripts stayed empty. Expired items didn’t reappear. Side context didn’t leak. Using @Grok @Bot to build the business. I’ve spent hours thinking of things to ask, assign tasks, and wondering if I’m using the bots properly or how I’m doing. The list is endless. Grok @bot is blowing my mind with how useful it is.... My home IT bot, named Glitch, has been restructuring my, LAN, NAS, Home assistant, Hubitat, Lutron hub, and my 100s of smart devices. It's been incredible how it just figures things out! To make things easier... I consult with SuperGrok Heavy first to make the plan, then when finalized, I show that plan to my Cheif of Staff bot and he has Glitch execute it. Amazing!! Stopped using @bot to clean up my X feed while I test day trading crypto with them. I fed Grok 8 hour+ day trade videos and had it break down the strategies. Then fed that to my grok bots. 2 bots: I fed one purely @Sheldino_D day trading videos. The other got random popular YT videos. Grok @bot just found an issue on my site and fixed it all by itself. I built this site, printfinderai. It is a site to help you find 3D models, and even have them printed. It has been running for many months now, and all of the sudden my grok bot assigned to it did a check and found a bug that popped up out of nowhere. No changes were done, no updates, nothing. It found the issue, was able to see that it was very inconsistent, and didn't happen every time, so it left it. Then it happened again. And again. And again. So it sent a cursor agent to fix it. All. So Grok @bot did something interesting. I told my programmer bot to add a vector image. It sent it to Cursor to handle the coding. So I loaded up Cursor and told it to actually change the vector image to a profile image. Cursor did it. Then passed it back to Grok Bot. But then Grok Bot told Cursor that wasn't the original request and ask it to fix it. So we have this loop. And me, the human, who do not have control. Interesting bug... or feature. @poteto

I just saw the post about this Odyssey contest with Grok Imagine. Less than 48 hours to create a scene but I figure I'll give it a go. Using Grok Bot to rough out a shooting script. I gave my head writer instructions and he spun up a writers room and got to work. Wild stuff. I created Akuma. He created Homer and Mycenae. They are now working on a script and passing edits back and forth in an .md file. I can see them critiquing each other. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Started making Loom videos, talking through all of my admin workflows. I hand them over to Grok Bot, which transcribes the audio, watches the video, and then workshops the automation with me. It’s just like onboarding a new employee. I go through what has to be done, the logic of each step, any gotchas, etc. Slicing up long workflows into their individual components and then stringing them together works best.
